Immigration Placement Services Ltd was founded in 2002 in response to the skills shortage in New Zealand. The company aims to meet the needs of employers and migrants with win-win outcomes. They are based in New Zealand and have agents in a number of countries to provide personalised service to migrants in their country of residence.

IPS specialises in securing employment and visas for migrants. Over the last three years they have gradually expanded services to provide comprehensive support to migrants, students and employers and placing migrants in jobs in New Zealand.

NZIS (New Zealand Immigration Service) made changes at the beginning of 2006 that require most migrants to obtain a job offer in order to gain sufficient points for residency in NZ. Since these changes were introduced, the demand for their services has become intense. Every day they receive a large number of enquiries from skilled would-be migrants all over the world.

Requirements

Most important requirements is to intergrate their existing data such as hundreds immigrant profiles and their CVs into the website database, so that the registered employers can view immigrants' CVs online.

The site also requires secure online payment to be made by both employers and job seekers. Therefor the job seekers' CVs can be viewed by autherised employers, the employers can view job seekers' CVs online.

Solutions

We managed to convert the website from static informative website into database driven dynamic website with many features for both employers and job seekers. We have also successfully add all candidates profiles into database, and move their cvs into web server.
